All users must engage respectfully with staff, interpreters, and the community. Misuse or culturally unsafe behaviour may result in service refusal or legal action.

2. Bookings
  • All booking requests are reviewed and confirmed by staff.
  • You must provide accurate service details.
  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may incur a cancellation fee.
3. Interpreter Standards

All Shine-On interpreters:

  • Follow a professional Code of Conduct
  • Are bound by confidentiality and cultural safety practices
  • May decline assignments due to cultural obligations (e.g. Sorry Business or kinship conflicts)
4. Cultural Protocols

We respect and prioritise Aboriginal cultural protocols. You agree to honour:

  • Interpreter choice based on skin group
  • Time off for Sorry Business
  • Boundaries around cultural topics or language
5. Intellectual Property

All site content (text, images, resources) is owned by Shine-On Consulting NT and must not be copied or reused without written permission.

6. Privacy

Use of our site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting forms or engaging with us, you consent to data collection as outlined.

7. Liability

Shine-On is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses arising from use of our site or services, except where required by law.
